Jinete Último Reino is the name of an audio-textual research area around desire, repression, rule, subjective rebellion and the joys shared by the subcultures of the night.
Jinete Último Reino is (and will be) consolidating into performative, sound, installation and printed pieces that, in turn, make up three major staged works about the subjective disobedience against any kind of domination, in a socio-historical context, of a somewhat more reactionary and identical sign than that.
Jinete Último Reino. Frag. 3 is the first of the three. It is a lyrical concert and an analyrical recital. It is an audio-textual work. It is a proposition of distortion, deviation and emotions, which speaks of what must be done inside to say yes and no, against the disproportion of mandates that order us.
Jinete Último Reino. Frag. 3 speaks of the night, from where things change in shape so that in the morning they will no longer be the same. “The rider (Jinete) is not a rider, but the effect of the resistance to flatness, the experience of gaining fitting into an overwhelming world that makes us unfit, nothing that lasts much, without any pain nor risk, and yet hopefully one that will not vanish”.
The performances by Salgado and Cabeza de Vaca are an explosion of language and sound, a unique work that intersects with voices such as those of María Arnal or Rosalía, a soft and hard song, a way of being and uttering the world to come, which looks like nothing.
