ESTE HIMNO LLEVARÁ LA PALABRA EUFORIA

La Intrusa

Saturday 9 May 19:30h
City of Culture | CINC Building

In the 2026/27 season we will celebrate the 30th anniversary of La Intrusa.

This anthem seeks to honour vital impulse. To invoke a collective way of sustaining ourselves. And to do so together. Because an anthem is not sung alone.

A lucidity shaped like delirium which, through its comic intoxication, reveals the substance of both the triumph and the failure of the expectations we all dream of. Crowned by this new freedom and obsessed with transcending ourselves, we create this anthem not from hope, but from impulse.

La Intrusa

La Intrusa is a company founded and directed by Virginia García and Damián Muñoz. Her work, marked by precise physicality and strong visual poetics, fuses dance, theatre and visual arts. She presented their pieces in more than thirty countries and have received, among other distinctions, the Spanish National Dance Award (2015) for excellence and integration of new languages. They combine the creation, direction and performance of her own works with choreographic commissions for other companies, alongside an extensive pedagogical activity both nationally and internationally.
